以前、ご紹介した「In Christ Alone （ただキリストにあって）」に引き続き、キース＆クリスティ・ゲティーによる、現代讃美歌をご紹介します。一気に、大雑把に訳してみます。今、教会では詩篇を学んでいますが、如何に神の御国が戦闘的なものになっているか、霊の激しい戦いの中で勇ましく敵を踏みつける征服者であるかを思わされます。
その戦いは、愛と謙遜、そして真理の戦いです。神に徹底的に服従し、神の御霊に働いていただく戦いです。ダビデの強烈な主への愛、主への拠り頼み、この方を盾とする姿を見、その思いを強くしています。ではご紹介します。
